The chair called the meeting to order at 12:32 PM.

There being a quorum present at 12:35 PM, the following business was transacted:

Senator King moved adoption of the committee rules. There being no objection, it was so ordered.

The Chair opened invited testimony (see attached witness list) for discussion.

Senator King assumed the chair.

Senator Schwertner resumed the chair.

There being no further business, at 3:13 PM Senator Schwertner moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
