Pursuant to a notice posted on August 20, 2025, and permission granted on August 20, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, at 8:02 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives King; Hernandez; Anchía; Darby; Hull; McQueeney; Metcalf; Raymond; Smithee; Thompson; and Turner.
