Pursuant to a notice posted on May 2, 2025, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gates, at 8:12 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Gates; Lalani; Alders; Hinojosa; Hunter; Lopez, Ray; and Morgan.

A quorum was present.

SB 1883

The chair laid out SB 1883, the companion to HB 2225.

The chair moved that SB 1883, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Gates; Lalani; Alders; Hunter; Lopez, Ray; Morgan (6).

Nays:                           Representative Hinojosa (1).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representatives Davis, Yvonne; Virdell (2).

At 8:14 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
