Pursuant to a notice posted on August 20, 2025, revised on August 21, 2025, and permission granted on August 20, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Bell, Cecil, at 10:01 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Bell, Cecil; Zwiener; Cole; Garcia Hernandez, Cassandra; Leo Wilson; Lowe; Luther; Rosenthal; Spiller; and Tepper.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

HB 26

 

The chair laid out HB 26.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair recognized Representative Oliverson to explain HB 26.
