Pursuant to a notice posted on February 27, 2025, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 10:31 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Smithee; Bowers; Cook; Jones, Jolanda; Louderback; Money; Moody; and Virdell.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

Chairman Smithee welcomed the committee and gave introductory remarks and organizational information.
