Pursuant to a notice posted on March 15, 2023, and permission granted on March 16, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cain, at 11:04 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cain; Anderson; Bernal; Goodwin; Harris, Cody; Kitzman; Rosenthal; Thimesch; and Wilson.

The chair laid out HB 1750 as pending business.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

The chair moved that HB 1750, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
