Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Health & Human Services was held on Monday, December 7, 2020, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:30 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on agenda items related to COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on agenda items related to COVID-19 data collection, data reporting, and modeling. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

At 1:45 PM Senator Perry assumed the chair.

At 1:56 PM Senator Kolkhorst resumed the chair. 

There being no further business, at 5:42 PM Senator Kolkhorst moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
