Pursuant to a notice posted on September 11, 2019, the House Committee on House Administration met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Geren, at 10:00 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Geren; Howard; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Flynn; Parker; and Sherman, Sr..

A quorum was present.

The committee met in a public hearing to consider the budget for the new House Select Committee on Mass Violence Prevention and Community Safety.

Representative Flynn made a motion to pass the budget.

Representative Sherman, Sr. seconded the motion.

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Geren; Howard; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Flynn; Parker; Sherman, Sr. (6).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:            Representatives Anchia; Ortega; Sanford; Thierry; Thompson, Ed (5).

At 10:15 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
