Pursuant to a notice posted on January 31, 2019, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Paddie, at 2:05 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Paddie; Herrero; Anchia; Bailes; Craddick; Darby; Gutierrez; Harris; Perez; and Rosenthal.

A quorum was present.

The committee met jointly with the House Committee on Natural Resources to discuss the current status of water use in oil and gas production.

The committee also reviewed various technologies associated with the recycling and reuse of water in oil and gas production.

At 3:58 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
