Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 10, 2019, and permission granted on April 10, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Springer, at 11:32 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Springer; Buckley; Burns; Fierro; and Raymond.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

HB 969

 

The chair laid out HB 969 as pending business.

 

Representative Burns offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Burns moved that HB 969, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           None (0).

Representative Fierro moved that HB 1563, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
