Pursuant to SCR 9 and HCR 56, 84^th Legislature, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on State Water Implementation Fund for Texas Advisory was held on Thursday, March 23, 2017, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

Co-chair Senator Charles Perry called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The State Water Implementation Fund for Texas (SWIFT) Advisory Committee advises the Texas Water Development Board on the administration of SWIFT funds. The committee will review the overall operation, function, and structure of the fund at least semi-annually and advises the board on any water related matter.

Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.

The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

There being no further business, at 2:24 PM Senator Perry moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
