Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 1, 2017, and permission granted on May 1, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Anchia, at 3:14 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Anchia; Ortega; Parker; Shaheen; and White.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair directed that the April 24, 2017 minutes for the House Committee on International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

The chair laid out HCR 88.

 

The chair recognized Representative Raymond to explain HCR 88.

 

The chair recognized Representative Raymond to close on HCR 88.

 

Representative Ortega moved that HCR 88, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Anchia; Keough; Ortega; Parker; Shaheen; White (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).
