COMMITTEE: Aging TIME & DATE: 9:00 AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 PLACE: E2.026

The committee will meet to consider the following topics:
1. Explore the need for geriatric training and continuing education among physical and mental health professionals and current promotional efforts across the state.
2. Explore opportunities to promote collaborative and innovative aging services across the state, particularly among the state aging and public health agencies, as well as other public and private agencies and organizations, to develop strategies for closer collaboration to improve the lives of older citizens.
Invited testimony will be followed by public testimony. Public testimony will be limited to 3 minutes.
