Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Finance was held on Thursday, February 19, 2015, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

Senator Hinojosa called the meeting to order at 9:04 AM. The following business was transacted:

SB 2 was laid out and public testimony was heard on SB 2 - Article II. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services

Senator Nelson resumed the chair.

Health and Human Services Commission

Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.

Department of Aging and Disability Services

Department of State Health Services 

Senator Nichols assumed the chair.

Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.

Department of Family and Protective Services

Senator Hinojosa closed public testimony on Article II.

Senator Hinojosa moved that SB 2 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.

There being no further business, at 5:55 PM Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
