R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jack McBryde of Stratford High School achieved great |
|
|
distinction by participating in the 2015 University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at |
|
|
Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 16, Mr. McBryde gave a fine |
|
|
showing in the Class 2A boys' 300 meter hurdles, clocking in at |
|
|
39.84 seconds to finish in fifth place overall; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete as one of the elite |
|
|
track & field athletes in the Lone Star State, Jack McBryde has ably |
|
|
represented his school, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his |
|
|
notable accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jack McBryde on participating in |
|
|
the Class 2A boys' 300 meter hurdles at the 2015 UIL Track & Field |
|
|
State Meet and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. McBryde as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
