R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bayler Wilson Boydston has been named salutatorian |
|
|
of the Class of 2015 at Bushland High School, and he indeed merits |
|
|
special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Mr. Boydston demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for his hard work, Mr. Boydston has gained the |
|
|
opportunity to address his fellow seniors at commencement and to |
|
|
reflect on their shared history as well as their hopes and |
|
|
ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Jenny and David Boydston, Bayler Wilson |
|
|
Boydston has earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bayler Wilson Boydston, |
|
|
salutatorian of the Class of 2015 at Bushland High School, and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins |
|
|
the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Boydston as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
