R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kristen Acker has been named valedictorian of the |
|
|
Class of 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Academy, and she indeed merits |
|
|
special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Acker demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being |
|
|
recognized for her hard work, Ms. Acker has gained the opportunity |
|
|
to address her fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on |
|
|
their shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Chrissy and Alan Acker, Kristen |
|
|
Acker has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kristen Acker, valedictorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Academy, and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Acker as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
