R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Janell Horton of Mount Pleasant passed away on May
  25, 2015, at the age of 75, leaving her circle of family and friends
  to cherish their many happy memories of time spent in her company;
  and
         WHEREAS, A native of Poteau, Oklahoma, the former Janell
  Johnson was born on May 1, 1940, to Othal Robert and Clara Vaughn
  Johnson, and she grew up with the companionship of five brothers and
  sisters; she went on to establish a career as a licensed vocational
  nurse; and
         WHEREAS, On July 4, 1964, she exchanged wedding vows with
  John E. Horton, and they shared a fulfilling relationship until his
  passing; they became the loving parents of three children, Robert,
  Jennifer, and James, and over the years, Mrs. Horton was further
  blessed to welcome into her family nine grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Janell Horton enjoyed a life that was rich in the
  intangibles that matter most, and she is deeply missed by all those
  who held her dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Janell Horton and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her son,
  Robert Horton, and his wife, Melissa; to her daughter, Jennifer
  Bradley, and her husband, Teddy; to her daughter-in-law, Pam
  Horton; to her grandchildren, Zachary, Clay, and Gracie Horton,
  Johnathan, Margaret, Charlie, Brittany, and Sarah Bradley, and Sky
  Horton and her fiancé, Christopher O'Reilly; to her
  great-grandchildren, Austin and Brodee Bradley; to her brother,
  Samuel McCord; to her best friend, Edith Brown; and to her other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Janell
  Horton.
