The committee will meet to consider the following interim charges:

Interim Charge 3- Study current regulatory authority available to municipalities in their extraterritorial jurisdiction. Examine how citizens are involved in the zoning process, and make necessary recommendations to ensure a proper balance between development activities, municipal regulations, and the effect zoning decisions have on Texas citizens.

Interim Charge 5- Conduct legislative oversight and monitoring of the agencies and programs under the committee’s jurisdiction and the implementation of relevant legislation passed by the 83rd Legislature.

-Although written testimony will not be considered a part of the record, persons wishing to distribute handouts may do so by providing no fewer than 15 copies to the Committee Clerk when called to testify.
