Pursuant to a notice posted on April 18, 2013, and permission granted on April 24, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Parker, at 5:25 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Parker; White; Allen; Riddle; Sheffield, J. D.; and Toth.

A quorum was present.

HB 1318

The chair laid out HB 1318 as pending business.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Toth moved that HB 1318, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
