R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Adriana Olivia |
|
|
Espinoza has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the |
|
|
office of State Representative Alma Allen; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Espinoza has conducted |
|
|
policy analysis, worked with constituents, and helped with general |
|
|
administrative duties; she has performed these responsibilities |
|
|
and others with energy and intelligence, and her initiative and |
|
|
willingness to learn have contributed greatly to the effectiveness |
|
|
of the office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of John and Cynthia Davis and Jesse and |
|
|
Arcelia Espinoza, Ms. Espinoza graduated summa cum laude with a |
|
|
bachelor's degree in social work from The University of Texas at |
|
|
Arlington, and she is currently a first-year graduate student in |
|
|
the social work program at The University of Texas at Austin; after |
|
|
earning her master's degree in 2014, she hopes to pursue a career in |
|
|
policy analysis; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Espinoza has contributed to the work of state |
|
|
government while enhancing her knowledge of the legislative process |
|
|
and the issues that concern the citizens of the Lone Star State, and |
|
|
she is indeed deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Adriana Olivia Espinoza for her service |
|
|
as an intern in the office of State Representative Alma Allen and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Espinoza as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
