The chair called the meeting to order at 10:04 AM. The following business was transacted:
The chair opened the floor for invited testimony on interim Charge #1:
1. Analyze ways to promote economic development along the border, using existing programs and resources. Make recommendations for development of programs in collaboration with local businesses, institutions of higher education, and community leaders to target training and jobs programs to growing industries.
Witnesses testifying and registering on interim Charge #1 are shown on the attached list.
The chair moved that invited testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.
