The chair called the meeting to order at 1:35 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The posting rule, Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, was suspended to hear the following bill(s):

HB 737

Senator Davis moved adoption of the minutes from the previous hearing held on May 21, 2011; without objection, it was so ordered.

The chair laid out HB 737 and recognized the Senate sponsor, Senator Williams, to explain the bill.

Senator Williams moved that HB 737 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 1 absent.

There being no further business, at 1:38 PM Senator Lucio, Jr. moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
