Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 6, 2011, and permission granted to meet while the house is in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 3:04 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cook; Craddick; Frullo; Geren; Harless; Huberty; and Smithee.

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.
