Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on
May 5, 2011 to consider HB 274, and permission to meet while the House is in
session on May 5, 2011, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil
Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Jackson, Jim, at 9:16 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Jackson, Jim; Lewis; Bohac; Davis, Sarah; Hartnett; Madden;
Raymond; and Scott.
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 274.
The chair offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without
objection.
Representative Madden moved that HB 274, as
substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The
motion prevailed by the following record vote:
