Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 6, 2011, the House Committee on Economic & Small Business Development met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, John, at 9:09 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Davis, John; Vo; Anderson, Rodney; Murphy; Reynolds; and Sheets.

The chair laid out SB 1714.

 

The chair recognized Representative Chisum to explain SB 1714.

 

Representative Reynolds offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair recognized Representative Chisum to explain the substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Reynolds moved that SB 1714, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
