R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, December 20, 2010, was indeed a special day in the |
|
|
lives of Amy Lillian Ward-Meier and Edward Franklin Meier, for on |
|
|
that day they became the proud parents of an adorable baby boy, |
|
|
Nolan Edward Meier; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since making his much-anticipated arrival at Sibley |
|
|
Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., Nolan has been warmly |
|
|
welcomed by an admiring circle of friends and relatives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Meier have been ably assisted in caring |
|
|
for their son by his big sister, Penelope Jane, who will undoubtedly |
|
|
delight in sharing her worldly wisdom with her younger brother in |
|
|
the days and weeks to come; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Nolan begins his life sheltered in the warm embrace |
|
|
of his family, and with their support and guidance, he will surely |
|
|
thrive; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Amy Lillian Ward-Meier and Edward |
|
|
Franklin Meier on the birth of their son, Nolan Edward Meier, and |
|
|
extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the family as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
