| The Senate Finance Committee will meet on March 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in |

| room E1.036 of the Capitol Extension. The Committee will hear additional |
|
| information as invited and public testimony regarding the Committee's |
|
| interim charge to review and make recommendations regarding existing and |
|
| future public debt at all levels of government in Texas, including |
|
| independent school districts, cities, other local governments and the |
|
| Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan. |
|
| The Committee will also hear invited and public testimony regarding the |
|
| Committee's interim charge to examine the Texas Tomorrow Fund and its |
|
| impact on institutions of higher education. Assess current and future |
|
| costs, the ability of institutions to absorb the costs, and make |
|
| recommendations for ensuring a sound fiscal approach to managing the fund |
|
|
|
|
| Those wishing to give public testimony, please limit prepared remarks to 3 |
|
| minutes. If submitting written testimony, please provide 25 copies, with |
|
| your name on each copy, to the Committee during the hearing. |
