SENATE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COMMITTEE: Intergovernmental Relations TIME & DATE: 9:00 AM, Wednesday, April 07, 2010 PLACE: Texas Southern University, Houston, Texas CHAIR: Senator Royce West The Senate Intergovernmental Relations Committee will meet on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at Texas Southern University, Mickey Leland Barbara Jordan School of Public Affairs, Lecture Hall 114, located at 3802 Tierwester, Houston, TX 77004 (at the corner of Tierwester St and Cleburne St).  The Committee will hear invited and public testimony on the following interim charge: Senate Interim Charge 1: Study current law governing homeowners associations with respect to ensuring that homeowners are given adequate protections against unfair foreclosures and are given proper channels for redress in case of foreclosure. *Public Testimony will be limited to 3 minutes.
