Senator Uresti, the acting chair, called the meeting to order at 3:09 p.m. and the following business was transacted:
SB 2150
The chair laid out SB 2150 and recognized the author, Senator Patrick, to explain the bill. The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Zaffirini sent up Committee Amendment #1 and recognized Senator Patrick to explain the Amendment. Senator Uresti moved that SB 2150 and Committee Amendment #1 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.

The chair laid out SB 2001 and recognized the author, Senator Van de Putte, to explain the bill. Witnesses registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.
