Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11, 2009 and being granted permission to meet while the house is in session, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt, at 5:34 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Truitt; Anderson; Flynn; Hernandez; Hopson; Veasey; Woolley (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Anchia; Parker (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 3252

 

The chair laid out HB 3252 as pending business.  Representative Hernandez offered a complete committee substitute.   (Representative Anchia now present.)

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.  Representative Anchia moved that HB 3252, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Truitt; Anchia; Anderson; Hernandez; Hopson; Veasey (6).

 

Nays:                             Representatives Flynn; Woolley (2).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representative Parker  (1).

 

At 5:39 p.m., on the motion of Representative Anchia and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
