Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 24, 2009, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt, at 12:25 p.m.

The chair laid out HB 801 as pending business.  Representative Hopson moved that HB 801, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair laid out HB 2694 as pending business.  Representative Hernandez offered a complete committee substitute.  The committee substitute was adopted without objection.  Representative Hernandez moved that HB 2694, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
