Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 8, 2009, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Deshotel, at 11:59 a.m.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 3025 as pending business.

 

Representative Turner, Sylvester moved that HB 3025, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Deshotel; England; Giddings; Keffer; Orr; Quintanilla; Turner, Sylvester (7).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Elkins; Christian; Gattis; Miller, Sid  (4).
