Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Criminal Justice was held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:10 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Invited testimony was heard regarding committee interim charge 12.

 

Public testimony was heard regarding committee interim charge 12.

 

There being no further business, at 12:30 p.m. Senator Whitmire moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
