Pursuant to a notice posted on March 8, 2007, the House Committee on Urban Affairs, SUBCOMMITTEE ON HOUSING, met in a PUBLIC HEARING and was called to order by the Chairman, Representative Jose Menendez, at 1:15 p.m.

 

 

ROLL CALL

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:           Chairman Menendez;

                        Representative Mallory Caraway (2).

 

Absent:            Representative Murphy (1).

 

A quorum was PRESENT.

 

The Subcommittee met in an ORGANIZATIONAL session and heard INVITED TESTIMONY from:

 

The Office of Rural Community Affairs;

The Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation; and

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs

ADJOURNMENT

 

There being no further business to come before the Subcommittee, at 2:40 p.m., on motion of the Chairman, and without objection, the PUBLIC HEARING was declared concluded and the Subcommittee stood ADJOURNED, subject to the call of the Chair.
