The Seante Committee on Health and Human Services will hold a joint hearing
with the Senate Committee on State Affairs on Wednesday, August 23, 2006
at 9:00 a.m. in the Senate Finance Committee Room, E1.036.

The Committees will hear invited and public testimony on Joint Interim
Charge #3 relating to forensic patients in our State Hospitals and
Community Mental Health Organizations.

At the conclusion of the joint hearing, the Senate Committee on Health and
Human Services will receive invited and public testimony on Charge #1
relating to studying and making recommendations to improve delivery of
Texas' mental health services.
