The committee will meet to discuss forms of business taxation currently
being used in Texas, other than the franchise tax.  Topics for discussion
will include, but are not limited to:  severance taxes, insurance taxes,
and utility taxes.  The committee will hear from invited witnesses, as
well as, take public testimony.
