The committee will meet in a public hearing to consider testimony on the
following interim charges:

1. Consider the potential for increased outdoor water savings through
landscape water conservation, including irrigation audit requirements, turf
replacement programs and the provision of certain landscape options for
prospective home buyers.

2. Examine state wastewater re-use policies, including an assessment of
potential changes or clarifications to the Texas Water Code.

Invited testimony will be followed by public testimony on these two charges
only.

The committee will also consider invited testimony by the Texas Water
Development Board regarding regional and state water planning and by the
Drought Preparedness Council concerning drought conditions in the state.
