The House Committee on Border and International Affairs will meet to hear
invited and public testimony on Interim Charges 1 and 3:

1.  Review the domestic and international use of economic development and
tourism resources to increase commerce in the border region, including the
two border Regional Centers of Innovation and Commercialization that will
be funded through the Emerging Technology Fund.

3.  Examine the most efficient ways to coordinate the many border-related
governmental entities and border-specific programs of state agencies,
specifically the operations of the Borderlands Information Center and
Border Activity Tracker and the possibility of combining and transforming
them into a comprehensive border information clearinghouse.
