         Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of  
         the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, May  
         2, 2005, in the Senate Chamber-Senator Harris' desk.

         The chair called the meeting to order at 6:18 p.m.  There being  
         a quorum present, the following business was transacted:   
          
         The chair moved to certify the bills recommended for placement  
         on the Local and Uncontested Calendar with the exception of HB  
         282, HB 304, HB 2814, SB 771, SB 861, SB 1165, SB 1870, SCR 15 &  
         SCR 21. There being no objections, the list, with the above  
         exclusions, was certified for placement on the Local and  
         Uncontested Calendar to be held May 5, 2005, at 8:00 a.m. 
          
         There being no further business, at 6:23 p.m. Senator Harris  
         moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of  
         the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
