         Pursuant to a suspension of the 24-hour posting rule on July 14,  
         2005, the House Committee on Regulated Industries met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative King, Phil, at 3:20 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                    (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Turner; Cook, Robby; Hartnett (3). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         The chair laid out SB 21. 
          
         The chair explained the measure.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         The chair closed on the measure.  
          
         Representative Hunter moved that SB 21, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives King, Phil; Hunter; Baxter;  
                         Crabb (4). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
          
         Absent:         Representatives Turner; Cook, Robby; Hartnett   
                         (3). 
 
         At 3:55 p.m., on the motion of Representative Baxter and without  
         objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the  
         chair.
