Pursuant to a notice posted on April 21, 2005, the House
Committee on Regulated Industries met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Phil, at
6:37 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

Robby; Crabb (5).
Absent: Representatives Turner; Hartnett (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 2592.
Representative King, Phil offered a complete committee
substitute.
The chair recognized Representative Frost to explain the
measure.

The chair recognized Representative Frost to close on the
measure.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
The bill was left pending without objection.

The chair laid out HB 3179 as pending business.
Representative King, Phil offered a complete committee
substitute.
The chair explained the committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Baxter moved that HB 3179, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives King, Phil; Hunter; Baxter;
Cook, Robby; Crabb (5).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Turner; Hartnett (2).
At 7:25 p.m., on the motion of Representative Cook, Robby and
without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call
of the chair.
