Pursuant to a notice posted on March 10, 2005, the House
Committee on Regulated Industries met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Phil, at
12:35 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

(4).
Absent: Representatives Turner; Baxter; Cook, Robby (3).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 1098.
The chair recognized Representative McCall to explain the
measure.

Representative Hunter offered an amendment to the measure.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
Representative Hartnett moved that HB 1098, as amended, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives King, Phil; Hunter; Turner;
Cook, Robby; Crabb; Hartnett (6).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Baxter (1).
The Committee stood at ease at 12:56 p.m.
The Committee returned to order at 1:28 p.m.

At 2:47 p.m., on the motion of Representative Turner and without
objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the
chair.
