         Upon lunch recess 
         House Chamber, Desk 39 
          
         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2005,  
         the House Committee on Public Health met in a formal meeting and  
         was called to order by the acting chair, Representative  
         McReynolds at 12:13 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Delisi; Truitt; Dawson; McReynolds;  
                    Solis (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Coleman; Laubenberg; Jackson, Jim;  
                    Zedler (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 2706 
          
         The chair recalled HB 2706 from subcommittee.  
          
         Representative Dawson offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Dawson moved that HB 2706, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Delisi; Truitt; Dawson;  
                         McReynolds; Solis (5). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
          
         Absent:         Representatives Laubenberg; Coleman; Jackson,  
                         Jim; Zedler  (4). 
          
         At 12:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
