         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 4, 2006,  
         the House Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Eiland, at 12:03 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Eiland; Flynn; Krusee; Straus (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives McClendon; Griggs; Rodriguez (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB73 
          
         The chair laid out HB73 as pending business.  
          
         The chair, Representative Eiland, offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The chair, Representative Eiland, explained the measure.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Flynn moved that HB73, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Eiland; Flynn; Krusee; Straus  
                         (4). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
          
         Absent:         Representatives McClendon; Griggs; Rodriguez   
                         (3). 
          
         At 12:05 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
                         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of
