         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16,  
         2005, the House Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Eiland, at 6:45 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                    Rodriguez; Straus (6). 
          
         Absent:    Representative McClendon (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         SB1513 
          
         The chair laid out SB1513. 
          
         The chair, Representative Eiland, explained the measure.  
          
         The chair, Representative Eiland, offered an amendment to the  
         measure.  
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Krusee moved that SB1513, as amended, be reported  
         favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do  
         pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following  
         record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Eiland; Flynn; Griggs; Krusee;  
                         Rodriguez; Straus (6). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
          
         Absent:         Representative McClendon  (1). 
          
         At 6:49 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
                         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of  
                         the chair.
