         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 9, 2005,  
         the House Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Eiland, at 6:30 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Eiland; Flynn; McClendon; Griggs;  
                    Straus (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Krusee, Rodriguez (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair directed that the March 17, 2005, minutes for the  
         House Committee on Pensions & Investments be corrected. The  
         corrected minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         The chair directed that the March 23, 2005, minutes for the  
         House Committee on Pensions & Investments be corrected. The  
         corrected minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         The chair directed that the March 31, 2005, minutes for the  
         House Committee on Pensions & Investments be corrected. The  
         corrected minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         The chair directed that the April 7, 2005, minutes for the House  
         Committee on Pensions & Investments be corrected. The corrected  
         minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         The chair directed that the April 21, 2005, minutes for the  
         House Committee on Pensions & Investments be corrected. The  
         corrected minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         At 6:32 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
