CORRECTED MINUTES
On May 9, 2005, the House Committee on Pensions & Investments
authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the
House Committee on Pensions & Investments held on March 17,
2005. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the chair, Representative Eiland, at 8:07
a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

Rodriguez; Straus (6).
Absent: Representatives McClendon (1).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB1594.
Representative Rodriguez offered a complete committee
substitute.
The chair, Representative Eiland, explained the measure.

The chair, Representative Eiland, closed on the measure.
The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.
The bill was left pending without objection.

The chair laid out HB604 as pending business.
Representative Eiland moved that HB604, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
