         Upon final adjourn./recess

         Pursuant to a notice posted on August 9, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Mowery, at  
         7:40 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Mowery; Harper-Brown; Pickett; Blake;  
                    Cook, Robby; Leibowitz; Miller; Orr (8). 
          
         Absent:    Representative Escobar (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 16 
          
         The chair laid out HB 16. 
         Representative Mowery offered a complete committee substitute.  
         The chair recognized Representative Woolley to explain the  
         measure.  
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Leibowitz moved that HB 16, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Mowery; Harper-Brown; Pickett;  
                         Blake; Cook, Robby; Leibowitz; Miller; Orr (8). 
         Nays:           None (0). 
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
         Absent:         Representative Escobar  (1). 
          
         At 7:45 p.m., on the motion of Representative Harper-Brown and  
         without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call  
         of the chair.
