Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11, 2005
and permission granted to meet while the house is in session,
the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met
in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Flores, at 7:06 p.m.

The chair laid out SB 269.
Representative Homer offered a complete committee substitute.
The chair explained the measure.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Chisum moved that SB 269, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
